Why is it called "Air Revelation"?
The word "Revelation" is defined as "the act of revealing something not before realized." While using the incentive spirometer your air usage will be revealed to you. While using the Air Revelation training program you will begin to realize how to use your air more effectively!
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

What if I already own an incentive spirometer, which instructional lesson package should I buy?
Packages 1 & 2 come with a free incentive spirometer included. However, if you already own an incentive spirometer and would like to purchase the instructional video series separately this is possible at the bottom of the Buy Now page. Click the option of your choice and you will be taken directly to the "Vimeo" website that hosts all Air Revelation videos. From there you may securely purchase and begin streaming and/or downloading on any device.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Can I purchase an incentive spirometer online elsewhere, or do I need to purchase one specifically from the Air Revelation website?
The incentive spirometer used in the Air Revelation Breath Support Training Program for Musicians is a Portex product made and developed by Smith Medical. It can be purchased elsewhere, however, the spirometer purchased on the Air Revelation website accessories shop comes with a music stand clip as well as the option of a specially designed long tubes and attachments for use inside clarinets and saxophones.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Do I have to work through the entire four week-program?   
Air Revelation is a four-week training program with separate and unique exercises each week that build upon the skills you develop in previous weeks. You will definitely feel the benefit, and hear the difference in your playing/singing after only one week of use, but aim to complete the entire program for maximum benefit.  For an added challenge, go on to complete an additional week of the "advanced level training."
 

 

 

 

 

 

Can I buy a DVD?
DVD's are not available. All Air Revelation instructional video content is available to buy online and can be accessed 24/7.

 

 

 

 

 

Where can I watch the Air Revelation instructional lesson videos?
The "Vimeo" website that hosts all Air Revelation videos allows the videos to be viewed on smartphones and tablets (via the Vimeo app), personal computers, and streamed onto televisions.

Can I do this program without an incentive spirometer?
No. The Air Revelation Breath Support Training Program for Musicians is used with the blue incentive spirometer, available for purchase on AirRevelation.com
 

 

 

 

 

 

Should I watch the lesson videos while training at the same time? 
It is not necessary that you watch the videos at the same time as training with the exercises, however, you will find it most beneficial to work on the exercises at the same time as viewing the videos. By doing so, you will be reminded in real time of all of the areas of focus of that particular exercise as well as the benefits, allowing you to do your best.

Once I complete the program, then what?
Once you complete the Air Revelation four-week training program you will immediately feel the benefits and hear the improvements in your singing/playing. For an added challenge, go one to complete an additional week of the "advanced level training".

You will find that this program will be most beneficial to you if you continue cycling through the Air Revelation program continuously in order to sustain the improvements in breath support and to refine your abilities and training. By cycling continuously through the program you will come to an even greater understanding of what works for your body and how to be most efficient in your breathing and exhalation. You may also train with individual videos for help with specific issues that you are working on in your singing/playing  (head to the All Exercises page for the right exercise for you).

Is a Spirometer Long Tube available for instruments woodwind instruments other than the Bb clarinet, Alto and Tenor saxophones?
No. Currently, the special Long Tubes are only designed for use with the Bb clarinet, alto saxophone, or tenor saxophone. Spirometer long tubes with special attachments will soon be available for brass instruments.
